The increase in digital clutter has lead to the emergence of collaborative technologies that promise to minimise information overkill and help us find what we need to do our jobs more effectively. However, while these technologies foster a culture of sharing, IT security and management need to be addressed before businesses simply leap onto the Web 2.0 bandwagon.
