What sort of IT function can be accredited?

The standard is designed to give confidence to internal IT departments and their customers, including where IT is substantially outsourced. The application of the Standard is scalable and suits associations of all sizes of IT function. Assessment is relevant to the organisation it serves – where a specified activity is genuinely not relevant, you are not expected to do it.
